BRIDGEPORT, CT – Koskoff, Koskoff & Bieder Partner Kathleen Nastri has been awarded with the prestigious “Lifetime Achievement Award” from American Association of Justice (AAJ) for her significant contributions to advancing AAJ’s commitment to promote justice and fairness for injured persons.

A previous AAJ President and a fierce advocate for civil justice, Kathleen has spent her career working on medical malpractice, personal injury and other complex cases, winning numerous precedent-setting and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements including the largest medical malpractice verdict in Connecticut history at $58 million. She is committed to providing the best possible representation for her clients, making it her life’s work to advocate for those who were wrongfully injured.

AAJ awards the Lifetime Achievement Award to members of at least 20 years, who through their courtroom advocacy, have shown a substantial service to the AAJ’s mission and the trial bar. The awardees have shown a persistent commitment of standing up for the rights of the wrongfully injured during their distinguished careers.

This award was one of three significant recognitions Koskoff, Koskoff & Bieder received this month. The firm also won the Public Justice award for Trial Lawyer of the Year for its nearly $1.5 billion victory against Alex Jones; and Michael Koskoff, who founded the firm with his father, Ted, was posthumously inducted into the American Association of Justice (AAJ) Hall of Fame.
